About Fencing Namibia
We are the national body developing fencing across Namibia — building pathways from first lesson to international stage.
Our Mission
Fencing Namibia aims to grow a safe, inclusive, and high-performance fencing pathway in Namibia. To support athletes of all ages, coaches, officials, and volunteers while promoting values of respect, discipline, and fair play.
- Participation at every age and ability.
- Coach and official education.
- Recognised competitions and rankings.
- Regional outreach and school programmes.
Our Story
Fencing in Namibia has a long history, though officially introduced in 2007 it is young and hungry. From local practice sessions to international appearances, we’re laying foundations for a sustainable national programme with support from African partners and the global fencing community.
Governance
Fencing Namibia is led by an elected board and operates under a constitution aligned with national sport policies.
